Nature on the Plateau

Welcome to the beautiful community of La Cresta and the Santa Rosa Plateau!

Where we live in the comfort of a neighborhood, while surrounded by the raw nature of the Cleveland National Forest and the Santa Rosa Ecological Reserve.

Where we smell the scent of the Pacific Ocean- less than 20 miles away, as the crow flies!

Where we enjoy sunsets over the Santa Ana Mountains in one direction and views of snow-capped Mount Baldy, Mount San Jacinto and Mount Palomar in the others.

Where the sun shines almost every morning, the sea breezes cool us in the afternoon and the stars perform for us at night.

Where 5-acre minimum parcels envelop us with privacy and the neighbors embrace us warmth.

Not only are we surrounded by nature, but we are protected by a ‘destination neighborhood’ – meaning that there is very little through-traffic.  If you are going somewhere, you are not traveling through La Cresta.  Because of our being the end of the road, we have little traffic, quiet nights, no street lights, and the feeling of being lost in nature.

In addition, to the south of us is 8000 acres of Ecological Reserve.  To the north is the Cleveland National Forest.  To the west is 200,000 acres of Marine Base Camp Pendleton.  To the east are the conveniences of shopping and everything you need within 20 minutes.
