What is La Cresta Life?

I’m coming to you today from the heart of La Cresta on the Santa Rosa Plateau… Otherwise known to me as Paradise. La Cresta Life is the place where you will learn all about life here.

In this episode, I’ll be introducing you to this Southern California equestrian community, offering some basic logistics and some really cool stories. You will notice that I will use a few interchangeable titles for this area… La Cresta, The Plateau, the Hill. The formal reference is The Santa Rosa Plateau. However, many people refer to all of it as just La Cresta.

Indeed, La Cresta is the largest of the associations up here, but also included are La Cresta Highlands, Santa Rosa West, Meadow Oaks, The Trails, and Tenaja. The whole area is tucked into the mountains between South Orange County and the Temecula Valley Wine Country. We are in an unincorporated area of Riverside County and have the postal address of Murrieta, CA.

All parcels are at least 5 acres, and there is no commercial zoning.

Because we are bordered by the Cleveland National Forest, Camp Pendleton, and 8000 acres of Ecological Reserve, this is a very private and rural estate community. We experience a real country vibe, VERY little traffic, and amazing star gazing, which we protect by not having street lights.

In a nutshell, this is a magical pocket of ranches and estates, in the hills above Murrieta, with a fantastic lifestyle and the conveniences of the city, just down the hill.

OK, now that we got all that out of the way, let’s talk about the really cool stuff…the People on the Plateau.

This current COVID situation has really shown a light on the beautiful people here. While if you are going to be stuck at home, a ranch on the Hill is a pretty good consolation prize. That being said, we still need stuff.

Enter the creative phase of the program…

Here’s to living in Paradise! See you next time!
